Digital & Analog TV Transmitters & Transposers

Omnicast has a range of Solid-State TV Transmitters and Transposers for digital and analog terrestrial Broadcasting.

These range from 2 watt peak sync analogue to Digital 1 KW DVB-T versions.

Key features are performance, quality, and reliability. Employing high performance exciters and wide band, highly efficient power amplifiers using LD-MOS semiconductors, AB class operation and with both linear and non-linear precorrection to obtain the necessary linearity.

Efficiency is further enhanced by the use of switch-mode power supplies, provided with PFC - Power Factor Correction.

Redundancy systems can use cold-standby or redundant hot standby drive configurations with automatic changeover units, as well as by dual power amplifiers and power supplies operating in parallel.

Digital TV transmitters and Transposers use modular construction and are equipped with easily replaceable units to ease maintenance.

Systems are available using any of the world's most important broadcasting standards, both digital (DVB-T, ATSC...) and analog (B, G, D, I, K, K1, M, N)

Omnicast transmitters and power amplifiers for television have Advanced telemetry and remote control systems, high stability, low phase noise synthesised local oscillators, with frequency offset capability, and digital systems are suitable for either MFN or SFN (Single Frequency Network) operation.
