Omnicast has extensive experience in all facets of Television origination, distribution and transmission.

A complete range of equipment and services is available including design and implementation of turnkey systems, supply of studio systems, fibre and microwave transmission and distribution systems, transmitters and antennas from low power community systems to full high power transmission systems for either analogue or digital.

Omnicast has a range of Solid-State TV Transmitters and Transposers for digital and analog terrestrial Broadcasting.

These range from 2 watt peak sync analogue to Digital 1 KW DVB-T versions.

Key features are performance, quality, and reliability. Employing high performance exciters and wide band, highly efficient power amplifiers using LD-MOS semiconductors, AB class operation and with both linear and non-linear precorrection to obtain the necessary linearity.

Omnicast transmitters and power amplifiers for television have Advanced telemetry and remote control systems, high stability, low phase noise synthesised local oscillators, with frequency offset capability, and digital systems are suitable for either MFN or SFN (Single Frequency Network) operation.

As well as transmitters a range of channel combiners and filters are available from COM-TECH and antennas for band 3 or UHF applications.

Satellite distribution systems for programming SD, HD or digital Cinema distribution as well as digital signage applications using DVB-S or DVB-S2 is available from IDC.
