Omnicast DAB/DAB+/T-DMB Modulator
The Omnicast DAB / DAB+ Modulator is a 1RU unit that accepts standard ETI signals and gives RF output at Band III for amplification and transmission. The unit is available with IF or L Band outputs as options.

The unit contains an embedded microprocessor controller which allows use of either IP via a LAN, WAN or Net connection or use of a modem with RS232/RS485 ports for monitoring via dialup.
The modulator is self contained with integral up-converter to Band III or L Band (option) allowing integration with most amplifiers to give a complete transmitter solution.
By using the Compass “Northpoint” GUI with a Java Webserver application incorporated that downloads to the monitoring PC on connection, the modulator can be monitored from any computer with a web browser.
All parameters of the modulator can be set from the GUI main page. Tabs allow selection of the other functions such as alarms.
History of alarms is kept on internal flash memory until acknowledged as well as parameters can be changed or monitored in realtime on the main GUI display.
Two standard ERTI inputs are provided with automatic switching to backup in case of failure of prime feed.
