| Mario is well known in the Broadcast and Telecommunications industries in Australia, Indonesia,
Vietnam and the South Pacific Islands with more than 40 years of experience. He has a proven track
record as an entrepreneur with particular skills in sales, marketing, management and engineering.
Mario's experience includes:
- Engineering Trainee - ABC Sydney
- Broadcast Engineer - University of Sydney, Australian Film, Television & Radio
School and Australian Film Institute.
- Established & built the first Community Radio Station 2MCE-FM in Bathurst.
- Engineering Consultant - Tasmanian Film Corporation for the design and planning of
their TV facilities integrated into the film studios.
- Product Manager - Philips Broadcast Division.
- General Manager - Harris Communications (Australia) Pty Ltd
(a Broadcast equipment supplier and systems integrator ) responsible for the overall
running of the business and reporting to the Board of Directors.
- Mario then established his own business, Comsyst (Australia) Pty Ltd in 1985 which
quickly developed into a major company as an equipment supplier and systems integrator
focused on the Broadcast ( AM, FM and TV),Satellite Earth Station Systems, Radio Re-Broadcast
Systems for intelligent Roadways and the Telecommunication Industries. Within 10 years
Comsyst had achieved a turnover of more than $40M. Mario being the principal sold Comsyst.
(Comsyst is now owned by United Group Limited).
