ABE

ABE is situated near Milan in Italy and produces a range of analogue and digital television transmitters, microwave links, antennas, encoders and modulators.

Products

Transmitters:

Ranging in power from 5W to 10KW in analogue and 5W to 5KW in digital. ABE has manufactured transmitters for many years.
Using solid state FET technology and available with redundant exciters and modular power amplifiers reliability is second to none.
Both VHF and UHF models are available.
Digital transmitters conforming to the DVB-T standard in 6,7 and 8 MHz channel widths are available.

Microwave:

Microwave links are available in both analogue and digital versions for the 2GHz, 3GHz, 4GHz, 6GHz, 7GHz, 8GHz, 10GHz, 14GHz and 23GHz bands.
Digital links use QPSK modulation and are available with either ASI or parallel interfaces.

Antennas:

Panel antennas for UHF in either horizontal or vertical polarisation or complete arrays are available.
ABE has a service to design directional arrays for any requirement.

Encoders:

MPEG2 encoders and multiplexers designed by ABE are available in single or multiple channel configurations.
It is possible to accomodate 4 encoders, a multiplexer and a modulator in a single 1RU case.

Modulators:

Modulators for DVB-T terrestrial transmission or QPSK for microwave links are available. Interface can be ASI or DVB parallel and are available either in free standing units or integrated with encoders or transmitters.
